We are delighted to offer a sustainability certification for pubs and inns which have a meeting space. Such properties take immense pride in ensuring they constantly provide excellent meeting room facilities and the renowned personalised service so beloved of the great British pub. That is why we’ve created a uniquely tailored certification to address the intricacies of the pub industry and their community.
We provide an industry standard aimed at encouraging more pub businesses to adopt sustainable principles.
Venues are awarded ECOsmart Sustainability Award one to three leaf status depending on the level of adoption of eco-friendly measures. The ECOsmart survey asks venues to demonstrate an eco-friendly service approach in five key areas:
- Energy and Water Conservation
- Waste Management & Recycling
- Rooms and Facilities
- Food and Beverage
- Corporate and Social Responsibility
