Lime Venue Portfolio has announced a new partnership with Greengage, the sustainability specialists behind the innovative ECOsmart certification and AI Smartscan technology.
The collaboration marks another major step in the brand’s mission to lead the way in sustainable meetings and events, supporting both its venues and clients to measure, verify, and continuously improve their sustainability performance.
Through the partnership, Lime Venue Portfolio venues will have access to Greengage’s ECOsmart certification, an advanced system that integrates seamlessly with leading industry platforms such as Venue Directory and Cvent. This integration means the brand’s sustainability credentials will be visible directly on booking channels, enabling agents and event planners to make greener choices more easily.
At the heart of the partnership is Greengage’s new AI Smartscan tool, which simplifies the certification process by allowing venues to upload and automatically scan sustainability documentation into a secure online portal. This innovation dramatically reduces the administrative burden for venues while improving data accuracy and transparency.
Jo Austin, Sales Director, Lime Venue Portfolio, commented, “It really is incumbent on us, working with our venues and our agency partners, to make sustainable events as easily and seamlessly as possible. They need the information quickly, credibly and visibly.”
Mark Bevan, Chief Operating Officer at Greengage, added, “This is a really important partnership for us, working with a brand like Lime Venue Portfolio, which has been at the heart of this conversation for so long. We believe this will provide the credible information customers need to make sustainable choices. It’s also a huge endorsement of what we’re trying to do as an organisation.”
Lime Venue Portfolio has long been recognised for championing sustainable event food and for challenging the industry to think differently about the environmental impact of what it does. This new partnership further embeds sustainability at every stage of event planning, from sourcing local and seasonal produce to ensuring transparent measurement and reporting.
